Are You Within A 60 Mile Drive To A Pep Boys?

Nearest Showroom looks like Kansas City (roughly 5 hours away). Pep Boys looks like 7-8 hours in Minneapolis/St Paul.
I still really want one and hope that other service providers will be available come 2016 when i'll be ready.

To answer the question - Yes there is a Pep Boys, however I'd rather change the oil myself. I'm not wanting to put anyone "down" but I prefer service a little better.
What I'd like to see is Elio have a drive through service (one or two bays) that an individual that isn't mechanically inclined can bring their elio for service.
Another thought is maybe elio might want to think about AMSOIL - like a single bypass unit.
I have friends (I know hard to believe but they are doing charity work) that use AMSOIL with by-pass type filters and they just replace the filter and the amount of oil the filter holds.
Charley Greer even did an oil test after the oil was in his vehicle for 5 years (NAPA sales the test) and it came back with extremely well with the results..

I looked up the nearest Pep Boys and checked out the reviews posted. I don't have a warm and fuzzy feeling about this place. Except for three reviews with more than one star all the rest were one. With words like the worst, vultures and vampires, poor service, extremely poor workmanship etc I will be looking for another Pep Boys or perhaps a DIY manual.
Yes, there is a difference between maintenance and warranty. I to will do all my preventative maintenance. I was talking mainly warranty work.

I am over 90 miles from any PEP boys. I do not see this as an issue though. I hope I am correct in this.

175 miles from Pep boys and should be less than 10 from show room depending on where it ends up. Curious to see what service center becomes official servicer in kc.
I guess we have to trust Elio Motors good judgement on partnering with PB as their service provider. I wasn't happy seeing negative reviews and perhaps just a handful of customers that couldn't be satisfied no matter what. There are many positives. I have to rely on my local mechanic as their is no PB close by.
