certainly as a "just in case" tool .... first planned use will be next week to help our youngest son cut a tree very near his father-in-law's home .... the winch will be used to literally bend the tree into the area we want the tree to fall

understood .... I ran a chimney cleaning, tree cutting service for decades .... over time falling trees damaged by various hurricanes kept us pretty busy and gave us a healthy respect for what can happen .... part of our equipment was a big Warn winch and we used the heck out of it

I failed to mention that we also made a change in the location of the Westin Black Winch Tray Tow Hooks .... originally, as can be seen in the First picture below, we mounted them so stick out from under the Westin Winch Tray .... in the Second picture can be seen how we relocated them so as to stick out through the slots in the front off the Winch Tray .... from a use stand point, both ways are fine, no difference in strength .... they were changed simply due to my wife liking the look of them coming through the slots

as noted above, a month ago we ordered the stainless Bull Bar shown above in post 44 for our Badland Apex winch .... per an email we learned that it should arrive day after tomorrow .... the price quoted a month ago was $278.99 plus Tax (no charge for shipping) .... in the last month its price from the same company has risen to $312.99 plus Tax (no charge for shipping) .... best price I currently see it listed on Amazon is $338.65 plus Tax (no charge for shipping) .... sure glad we ordered when we did

Be glad they aren't canceling the original order, and making you pay the marked-up price. At least they are good for that.
But for $34 they aren't giving up that much.

Question; if you don't mind answering, how much did you get back on your refund?

we deliberately structure our State Taxes to zero out to where we owe the state nothing and they owe us nothing ....we deliberately structure our Federal Taxes to where we get back a bunch

Arrghhh you have a State tax? Yukkers, we don't we only have Federal Tax, and that's bad enough, but we're the same way, we usually don't pay any, and 0 refund. It was different when I had my business license, but that got taken away since I haven't had any customers in a while. The state took it away in 2019 when business stopped. (Oh well, it was good while it lasted) Business opened in 1986 till 2019 so I had a good run.
