Funny, as how they "regularly read, and as such, are aware of what is being discussed on here and other forums." I remember when my wife and I were interested in the PT Cruiser, we actually joined the PT Cruiser forum which, by the way, was always monitored and never a comment could be posted without an actual Chrysler represetative viewing it first. They were there to dispell rumors, confirm this and thatand talk about where the PT Cruiser was in production. There are a lot of people who i am sure would love to join in so who knows over time Elio Motors may open these discussions up to a wider audience. As far as I know these virtual meetings have been by invitation only and the invitations have been given out to a number of people active in the various online Elio communities. Elio Motors representatives do regularly read, and as such are aware of, what is being discussed on here and other Elio forums.
I do, however, understand that this is slightly different, being as how Elio Motors is a start-up company, and therefore the few "representatives" that they may actually have are being schooled by the Elio heads and probably being put out there at the Elio showings.
But, you see my point. Others have also stated, more bluntly than myself, "documentation, or it didn't happen." Admittedly, I felt a little put off that there was an "apparent conference call" with Elio personnel, and was in disbelief of that and the "facts" stated there-after. So please, understand, if we "commoners" who are "not in the know" don't trust what we are hearing. Seems it has been happening for centuries, doesn't it?
