I was told "confidentially" at the LA auto show in 2015 that there was going to be an alternative dash. You know how hard it's been to keep that in when everyone had been complaining about the Elgin! Sure am glad the cats out of the bag now.

This is VERY upsetting!
They're going with a "standard" gauge set that's easy to read at a glance? We need to put together a protest to "Save The Elgin Dash". Who's with me!

Yea...I was told at the Greenwood show that the AMT would have paddle shifters... that's NOT happening now..just saying, you can't believe EVERYTHING you hear..even from EM reps !

Anyone notice that the stereo location looks like a standard single DIMM now? Maybe that was pointed out elsewhere, but I'm glad to see it.
On the subject of the Elgin...if it is an option that doesn't cost too much, I'm definitely getting it. I always loved how quirky it is.

Yes, looks like standard single din with an oval fascia. A little dremeling will take care of that.

absolutely delighted that the Elgin as the standard dash is history .... for me this is the best news to come out of EM in many, many moons
