Sorry if I don't get it, but what's the connection with the Mustang and my question about the Elio's wiper stalk?

I swear, the numerals on that Elgin dash look smaller every time I see them. What could EM be thinking?!

I can understand if PE's choice of the Elgin dash is part of cost cutting to meet his $6,800. target price but if it'll cost more than conventional dash, it became too personal for him instead of catering to what we as future customer wants. But at the moment EM have a lot more to worry than the Elgin dash. and personally, at this point, I'll take whatever they deliver comes Q4 2016!!!

Because the wiper controls are part of the turn signal stalk.

I'm not sure the earlier louvres were actually light colored. There was a flash used in that picture and it creates a huge amount of glare. My shot avoided that problem.

Keep in mind the wipers are non-functional on purpose... they have a plexiglass windshield and wipers would scrape it up. I would almost bet that the wiper motor is in place to ensure it fits though it is probably not connected.

The current ones look like a different shape, so almost certainly new.
