Ok, from the facebook page, tour officials are telling folks the P5 will not be available till fall. This could mean a push back of production and also a problem with the 20+prototypes. Hope it is not a IAV engine delay or the transmissions. With so many suppliers, one company failing to produce could cause the whole line to be shut down.
Not becoming a naysayer yet...but It is obvious to all of us that waiting for EM to make an official announcement about just about anything is not going to happen. We found out about he destination fee ($750), and the automatic charge (under $1000) in OKC and a few other surprises from the tour people and not the corporation.
I also have a request for any one who lives in the Phoenix area. If you get a chance go to 2942 n. 24th st. suite 114-700 and take a picture of the building and also see if anybody from EM is there! EM mail goes there!
I have been watching this go on for over a year and love the idea and the potential savings., but it has been going on now since 2008 and now if a delay is coming, it might mean late 2015 or early 2016.
.BTW, did you notice the 2015 ford mustang ads? It is june 2014.

Do you see how ridiculous your claim is in this day and age? We have to question this just like the sighting of the blue p4/p5 on late night tv that can't be found on youtube or anyone has DVR'd. How does anyone stumble across the prototype builds if it was not a planned trip, and if so how do you not have a phone on you? And if you have a phone, how do you not know how to take a picture with it?

Good point. Discarded frames or frames waiting for bodies?... The red makes sense though... It'll be red or blue, I bet. Even if true, this does not concern me. It isn't Elio having trouble but rather the fab company.
