So...in Missouri, would seals be considered "an import?"

Probably. Luckily we have lots of beavers.:D
I wonder, how much more "better performance than anticipated" horsepower the Elio engine is delivering? Is the torque higher as well? The torque is what'll get us up to speed faster, as I don't imagine the engine will be a high RPM one. Just a guess though..

I'm rooting for "better performance than anticipated". We kind of know the total weight of 1200 lbs, and at around 55hp +/-, and maybe around 60 to 70 lb/ft of torque (kind of extrapolating from the G10 performance), it's not going to light off the tires, but it should be about as peppy as my 914, and handle nearly as well (or possibly better). Sure wish we had some 'actual' specs so we can stop pretending/imagining how this baby will actually run!

Flowery language will get you no where with me. YOu see I have a gift of discernment and, brother, sincerity of lack there of has betrayed you. Once again if my B.S. doesn't bother you why'd you bring it up? Your are also falling into the mold that describes all elitist similar to the PHDs I described earlier. You see you are volunteering and presume a task that is completely frivolous meaningless, "saving me from myself". That puts you in the same catigory as Al Gore who (possibly the biggest bloviator of all) trying to save the world from Climate change. LOL

You do have a way with words you old smoothy! So why do you bother replying unless there is an attraction, thank you for your concern, keep up the good work[/QUOTE]
Well that remains to be seen. But I think I made my point smooth or ruff that I just don't like parting shots. Plus no grounds for you taking them. I really appreciate Goofie's brevity here in both our cases.
