Severe flooding in Houston is a very common problem...

so far this morning, the news reports indicate that things are bad, that they are going to get worse, and that so far, conditions are developing as anticipated .... Rockport seems to be hard hit

No issues with the loss of power at this point...was a rather quiet day without much rain in the Galleria area... but the heavy rain is starting to move back into Houston in the last hour...

Currently tornado warnings near Houston...

The forecast still indicates lots of heavy rain in the next several days...

That's what they said on the news, the heavy rains are still yet to hit, and they are predicting 18 to 24 inches.
No envy here, but we feel for you man, hope you're ready for it.

early morning news reports indicate that, as anticipated, Harvey is ambling around, dumping massive amounts of rain as he passes .... video shows that Houston is now experiencing flooding .... I can't help but wonder how far inland one would have to travel to get out of the storm

Thankfully I live on the second floor of my building...

Our lower parking garage is flooded...

Currently in high boots walking near my building...

Most street in the area are impassable...even with a SUV...
