Elio Addict
translation - LOL I'm guilty of the foreign nation, I'm from Brooklyn!

You can register using your Google, Facebook, or Twitter account, just click here.As evidenced by dusty making fun of my German, I am American as Dutch apple pie, but I was just keeping up with the conversation. There was an article from a German site that was rather good.I don't know what you said but I hope your from a foreign and you are planning on purchasing a Elio. I think the Elio can reverse things in the US, maybe the Elio will be exported more cars than the US is importing.

If the Elio is produced I think it could sell in the foreign markets FAR, FAR beyond the numbers we can expect here in the US. Provided they can manage to get past the various vehicle regulations in each country.
That's how they measure fuel mileage. It's 3 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. My German's pretty rusty. Took it in HS, and heard it when my parents didn't want us kids to know what they were talking about, but doesn't the title translate to "This is the 3-liter auto for 5000 Euros"? Where'd the extra 2-liters come from? o_O

It concerns me that you might actually think that is an un-biased assessment.I LOVE that song!
But seriously, Your feelings seem to be shared by many here. I have heard time after time about the "rainbows, and kool-aid"...So, I really started pay attention to the "replies" from both sides. Here is my impression. 1)The supporters (almost all) have stated they "hope" it is produced, "realize" there are no guarantees, "understand" that this is a monumental undertaking (not successfully accomplished in over half a century), and are ok with EM's need to be adaptable & flexible. They are also eager to support the "concept", and "enjoy the ride" on the "Elio tour bus", realizing that the reason we have made it "this far" is because of Paul's Bull headed determination to fulfill the "4 tenets." They have also impressed me with their ability to do unbiased research, to "present the information" and "accept" the results...positive or negative, and continue to look forward.
Does this "sound" unreasonable? Not to me.
2) The "skeptics" (almost all) have stated they "hope" it is produced, "realize" that everyone is dishonest (therefore, so is EM), "understand" that, without "constant pressure" and "myopic" advice, EM won't succeed. But they DO "understand" that this is a monumental undertaking (not successfully accomplished in over half a century) therefore, EM probably can't do it either . They feel that $1K worth of "skin in the game" should constitute "CONTROLLING INTEREST" .They are also eager to support the "concept", as long as EM Removes Paul Elio as "ceo" AND allows them to drive the bus." They have impressed me with their ability to present their astigmatic "opinion of the information presented" ( by EM) as deceptive and dishonest and continue to look "at the past" (EM's ability to adapt) as mistakes or lies.
So, what do you think? Agree? Disagree?
I LOVE that song!

Whomever do you mean?? I wouldn't like to think of myself as a usual source at all. I've become accustomed to being considered a rather UNusual source.
Making fun of my German - Bad form for someone "drawn here to meet 'nice' folks". I did mention that it's been quite some time after all. Decades in point of fact...... Now I feel old.:'(
Anyway, having placed my disinterested observer cap snugly upon my furrowed brow, I can't help but notice that there are easily as many complaints about the complainers as there are complaints in the first place. From troll hunters to cheerleaders to neo-flower-power gurus, there is enough condemnation of the nay-sayers to send anyone who is not of the highest-believer caliber at least into exile if not straight to hell. Woe be it unto any who dares question the faith here. In my pompus opinion.
