Is Having Pep Boys As Our Go To Place For The Elio A Good Idea?

With as many "off the shelf" parts they're supposed to be using, I don't know if there will be very many Elio Only parts that you would need to get from an Elio Service Center; and you'll probably be able to purchase direct from Elio and have it shipped to you if you did.

I'm sure it has been said before "Pepboys is a poor choice as a Elio service center." I agree with that. I can think of a number of good reasons why this is true. And I would have thot Elio could too. As a startup car company Elio should be in the consumer confidence business. And shaky Pepboys with its boatload of cheap car trinkets does not inspire service confidence.

You do know that Pep Boys is under new ownership don't you?
I expect to start seeing changes there in the very near future.

A few months ago I called Pep Boys corporate and some local shops to see if I could verify a pep Boys and EM relationship and was unable to confirm anything with those I spoke with. Does anyone have information or an official statement from Pep Boys to confirm a deal or potential deal with EM for service?
