I hope not. A full sized license plate on the front of the Elio will cover the radiator scoop and cause overheating issues.

I'm kind of with Grumpy Cat on this one, but Missouri is one of those states that require a front plate on your car/truck. If MO does indeed require that I put on a front plate, I may do something like this to smooth out the air flow around the plate. Super crude CAD drawing/rendering, but you get the idea.

Autocycle is Auto and Cycle. 2 plate states say front and back, both mounted on passenger vehicles. ELIO Autocycle law will be interesting, especially here in CA. I will not put one on, and if pulled over, will explain the complexities of drag coefficient to the officer.
Or maybe just move to IN. "Autocycles are titled and registered as a motorcycle, and are issued a motorcycle license plate."

I do not want to see an exterior antenna of any kind, no roof rack, etc. If ELIO is supposed to be a super slippery slip stream vehicle, I will try to keep it that way.

There will be 1 (one) motorcycle plate in the rear only.
I don't know if I can remember how many times this has been discussed, but it's right in there with the gas cap, left door only and yellow.
