Here in Washington-The-State, front plates are required on automobiles. We don't have an autocycle classification, but have modified motorcycle laws that cover what we describe as autocycles. Motorcycles only require the rear plate.

All that said.... I got a co-worker who drives a sporty car of some sort, with no room for a front plate without blocking the radiator. He keeps the front plate on the dash, visible through the windshield, and rarely gets any beef from the law.

Thankfully, KY doesn't require a front plate. so she'll look clean.

Neither does New Mexico so my Elio will be clean and exciting

Depending on the part of the state, it might be the gas can on the right fender.
