My Elio Alternate Project Is Underway.

This is what I have been working towards the last week, including the purpose for the frame modifications (the green tubes).

I was quite unhappy with the stresses I had created in the steering with the suspension modifications, and pleased it looks like this is now resolved.

The stack of washers and low grade bolts are just there for fitment testing.

The bush is from a Chevrolet Colorado suspension lower control arm, available anywhere in the world.

I will be gone for 4 to 5 days, so no updates until I return. I am going to visit a potential production Partner, will update you on that upon my return.

Thanks you, I just was told it's 7 days though, so back on the 18th or 19th.

Not sure what internet access I will have, if any, while traveling, we will see.

There are some China myths rampant, 'The China Great Firewall' being one of many. fact is I get 98% of normal internet sites.

It is also no secret that a handful of social media sites that refuse to comply to Chinese law are banned, Facebook, Twitter and a few Google owned sites such as Youtube. I do require a VPN to get those few sites that I do not have while traveling.

So i wasnt sure if this social media site would have access or not, but clearly it isnt a problem :~)

I’m not sure Paul has a computer, since he never communicated with his reservationists on their Facebook page or on this site directly. That’s what I like about BEX. Also, Arcimoto in that the CEO surrounded himself with a team of specialists to R&D the FUV in house and always communicated with us personally on their Facebook page along with many of his designer/engineering/ technical/fabricator, and marketing team members, and using private angel investor funding during the entire R&D process. Mark Frohnmeyer still monitor’s facebook activity and chimes in periodically plus he hosts all of the Arcimoto webinar updates. Important to hear the progress directly from the man in charge. Perhaps BEX will be doing the same at some point in his personal prototype build endeavor.
