The integer 12 is the first abundant number. Its proper divisors are 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 for a total of 16. The amount by which the sum exceeds the number is the abundance. The number 12 has an abundance of 4, for example.

My presentation for my Bachelor of Science (thirty-some *ahem* years ago) was on pseudo-prime numbers. Prime number is divisible only by 1 and itself. A pseudo-prime is a number divisible only by prime numbers.

Ok, that post makes me seem smart, but all I did was a quick Wiki copy/paste, I'd never heard of abundant numbers either, I was hoping it had a numerical value like "buttload" (126 Gallons), god I do love using that word when I can.

the last update on EM's forum list the number of $1,000 All In's as "approximately 15,400" .... it will be interesting to see what the next update shows

No updates lately. I suppose they're waiting to break the 47k mark before updating...

the most recent update covered a 2 week period .... if the next one comes out Monday/Tuesday, it will cover a 2 week period .... a while back there was some speculation that would become the norm

It seems like they flip-flop on that decision. I thought it was once a week on Mondays unless they were getting close to a mile marker... Oh well, I think breaking 47k will easily be in the next update!

hopefully ..... it would seem to be reasonable to believe that breaking 10,000 people expressing interest in crowd funding might boost reservations
