Maybe it was. As Paul Harvey would say, the rest of the story: Started work at a local restaurant busing tables and need a way to get there. Parents tired of taking me, wanted to make sure I was going to stick. Any way. Mom saw the Mustang and liked it, Dad didn't. Took it for a test drive and scared the bejeebies out of both. Dad told Mom ," He is going to Kill us and himself." end of Mustang. I ended up with an Impala. Big Boat. :hat:

Just curious where you found a 66 Celica since it started into production in 1970.
Oops sorry...72 Celica...... brain fart.

Got written off in 1984

Picked up a 1976 Celica Hatch-back and had it a couple of years but rusted out too badly then a 77 Celica Hatch-back and that got totalled in 1988. Rear ended again. Minor injuries that time.

All were stardard with Rack and Pinion Steeeing
