231/3.8 is a whole different kettle of fish than the Chev small blocks.

I have heard of car jacking, is this thread jacking?Joe, you're confused by the thread title. We (I accept some blame here) jacked this thread into another auto/AMT thread days ago, and the mods have been so busy with the holidays, they haven't had time to relocate them yet.

When I started this topic I was hoping for discussion about manual transmissions since there was already one going on about the automatic. I felt it was great news that the clutch would be full manual on the standard transmission. Lets get back to the topic.

My guess is hydraulic. It's an industry standard and easier to control through restrictions and manifolds.
Don't get me wrong, I have a great fondness for cable clutches.
