I've seen it posted both ways now, dry clutch or wet?
I've been leaning toward dry clutch all this time, based on the engine block design shown publically..

I had to ponder the merits of a hydraulic vs cable vs linkage setups.

Hydraulic systems are better if there is a difficult run from the pedal to the clutch, meaning bendy and tight fit. They are also self adjusting (mostly)
They are also $100-400 more expensive than the cable equivalent. If a hydraulic system is used, I hope a slave cylinder is located outside the transmission (opposed to the co-centric slave cylinder that Ford seems to like).

Cable systems are cheap, light, simple, and reliable. It's also a good fit for a relatively small clutch. I don't know if the run from the pedal to the clutch is straight or roomy. I'll leave that to the engineers. Cable systems seem to stretch, but the adjustment is usually really easy. (usually a single bolt)

Not yet mentioned is the mechanical linkage option. Better than cable since it won't stretch, but slightly heavier.
With a short run, it would actually be perfect.
