and maybe we don't have a say in it ... don't fret about things that you can't change. Wait until Jan 14 and then embrace the change

Hood/smood---What difference does it make? Have had ""open from front, side and rear---side was back in the "30"s---just so one can get to the running guts is the important part!!

There's no losing on this one. It's just the design. I'd like it much better if it was designed like the Triumph Spitfire or Herald. Does anyone remember how they were configured?

Thrumph Spitfire, Herald, E-Jag, Noble M12/M400,my Saab Sonett II and most race cars flip forward (or backward for mid-engined configurations) for dramatically superior engine bay and wheel well access. One piece tilting hoods also allow a complete replacement in the event of an accident or easy repair as the complete front comes off as a unit.

Next time you are close to an 18 wheeler(the cab portion) note how the hood is hinged at the front of the radiator. It is easier to maintain the service elements on the engine. RB

A nice sporty touch. The hood is small enough that removing it for front engine/radiator access will still be easy enough.
