Did the same today myself... looks like we could round up a good lynch mob in a worst case scenario, but I'm not the pessimistic sort!
I'm really looking forward to this, as I came VERY close to putting cash down on one of the Corbin Merlin Coupes back around `04 (about two days before the announcement that they'd defaulted and declared bankruptcy) and have even considered trying to build my own all-weather three wheeler in the interim but never been able to find the time.

For those of you who have been around a while (won't say HOW long that is!), the Tri-Magnum prototype is owned by a friend of mine here in North AL. I tried to ride in it with him, but we couldn't close the canopy because I'm too tall to fit inside! Been interested in something with this general layout since the plans for it came out, but the FWD platform really makes the Elio a better machine for all conditions than the TM was with it's RWD and lack of reverse.

Congrats! Hopefully starting in the second half of 2015 there should be daily rallies in Shreveport!

But seriously Elio rallies have been discussed and my favorite idea so far has been for the first national rally to happen in Shreveport on the first anniversary of production. I don't think Elio Motors would have any issue with thousands of Elios coming home for a visit around that date. Shreveport also has about a half dozen casino hotels with thousands of total rooms along with all the normal hotels and motels you would find in a mid sized city so it should have the capacity to support such an event.

Congrats wjdom-- Did the same earlier myself. Makes you feel more connected to the whole process doesn't it.

I feel more invested, hope this stock makes it, might be the only chance to get stock in Elio motors.
