Half price floor mats and seat covers. And a whole new confusion when ordering car parts. "Are you looking for a replacement drivers side mirror?" "They are Both drivers side mirrors???"

I don't know about the tolls since I don't live where there are any, however fast food shouldn't be a problem because both parties can lean towards each other and probably manage.Paying tolls (with an ezpass system) will require getting out of the car! Fast food drive in would be another 'get out and get it' area. At least on a bike you can move over up against the toll gate, not going to get to close in an Elio with tearing a front wheel off...
In Chicago you have to pay a toll just to get to the next toll. I Average $30 in toll costs for my travel Each Week and the roads and pot holes are no better. The toll system was a great concept, unfortunately they failed to mention it was a Never ending concept!
I have to agree with you. I lived in South Carolina for many years and traveled to Atlanta often, the roads in Ga., SC and most of NC are, in general, in far better condition than highways in the states further north. Maybe we can blame all the salt and armies of snow plows every winter.I have noticed this also. Before Thanksgiving Georgia removed the only toll in the entire state yet I think Georgia highways are the same or better than many states that I have lived in or visited which have toll roads.
I'm very familiar with those tolls, I go through there every other year visiting a friend.Watch out in West Virginia. Two axels on a car or cycle is $2.00, pull a trailer and have three axels it will be $2.50. For each toll booth - there are three of them on I-77 N/S. My uncle about blew a gasket on that one when he came through on his Goldwing with trailer.
Yup, with just 2 snows that needed plowing this year there are miles long strips on a couple of roads that I drive that were perfectly smooth and now have more potholes than a teenager has zits. (North Carolina)I have to agree with you. I lived in South Carolina for many years and traveled to Atlanta often, the roads in Ga., SC and most of NC are, in general, in far better condition than highways in the states further north. Maybe we can blame all the salt and armies of snow plows every winter.
What do you do with the extra tire when the tire shop runs a buy 3, get the 4th tire free special? You'll save money buying just 3 tires and 3 spark plugs.
I like your way of thinking! LOL :-) ZI am very hopeful that one of the benefits will be Lower Insurance costs. Compared to a 40K typical car I can't imagine the rates for a $6800 car with a $300 plastic body would be all that much? As for theft, Sorry but I don't see the Elio as being a target for groups of kids looking for a joy ride nor a huge payday for chop shops. Lets hope an unintentional benefit is Less donations to the Insurance empire!
