I have to ask - have you actually seen the Elio to have your picture taken or did you photoshop it? ZFirst post, so I hope this hasn't already been covered. Tire costs should be very inexpensive because I'm thinking that the tire on the back should last through two, maybe three front tire cycles. So you should only have to replace the front tires the first time around, and maybe even the second. It's very common to get around 100,000 miles out of the rear tires on a light compact front wheel drive car if you don't rotate the tires and don't carry a lot of weight in the back.
BTW, that Drive Inn South of Roseburg was located on the East side of I-5 at the Winston/Dillard exit. They just took the screen down in the last 10 years. I live just 25 miles North of Roseburg so I pass by there sometimes.
