What Is Elio Stock Trading For Today?

Today's close is set the all-time record closing low at $1.40. The all-time trading low was on 5/22, but the stock recovered before the close.

It'll go back up. It's just day traders playing with the stock. They like to do this for companies that have gone into silent mode because it's easy to make a few bucks here or there. The "someone" is a computer as very little of what is happening with Elio is by people wanting to sell or buy.

Well, it's an easy bet to make if you really believe that. If you're right, it's easy money. The stock held even today, so you hopefully have at least one more try before the stock price skyrockets.

Just to be clear, I'm neither short nor long on ELIO, and I do not believe that the fundamentals support the current $1.40 price. As long as there are day trading speculators and emotionally involved enthusiasts, you might be right about the stock rebounding. I'm not going to bet either way.

With Elio Motors refusing to stay current with SEC reporting, their refusal to say anything that is currently happening (other than "Read the Blog", which are all old, I don't see why anybody would be interested in buying stock, at any price, if they have done any research into Elio Motors. If the ElioCoin ever did come out, would any of us buy into it? I wouldn't. No confidence that they would ever make it into production and that the money wouldn't find it's way into Elio Engineering. Without good news about funding, Elio may as well shut down the website and have either a "Under Construction" or "Gone Fishing" homepage. Their current site is really just a form of virtual reality that shows what might happen, but I can't drive a virtual vehicle to work.
