There have been previous vids with the E riding on snow It was a poor attempt at humor to suggest it could handle the NE storm(s).
I too thought it was very well done and positive,

I believe that Jerome was driving the Elio when that film was made ... he had high praise for the way it handled

It seems that some folks think that by putting their money at risk they have elevated themselves above those who navigate more carefully .
It's like the gambler at the football game who thinks he should get a better seat than the regular fans.
The times in my life I played it safe, took the sure thing risk nothing at best I broke even. Taking risk is what broke us out of the just getting by way of life.
I took a risk on ELIO, the gamble has not played out yet. I did so because I wanted to and can. have no ill feeling towards those that feel they can not.

LOL. Now that's is funny.
Hell Jerome has investment in Elio. You really don't think he would say something bad about it do you?

not just an investment, a heavy investment in both time and money .... his comments to me pretty much mirror those of reporters and others who have test driven the P4 .... granted, not in the snow

Where is Bill Gates and his "chump change" when you need him?
Just tell him that the reduced pollution will "save the world"

Hey Bill Wake Up !
Bill's philanthropic work is not in his control anymore the Gates Foundation, Under his dad handles that. Although he might not "Save the world" he's making a great effort to help. My daughter was in Uganda for a year, (before she left, I had a full head of hair), and the effort to bring just potable water to folks is enormous. We have no idea how much we just take for granted here in the land of more than plenty

Gamblers could care less about the game, and/or seeing it. It's the "action", and spending it sitting at a game while other bets are riding, or could be placed is more important. Most aren't fans, they watch the odds and points

Thumbs up to your daughter's effort. Good parenting? Most every time I fill my coffee pot with pure drinking water and flush the toilet I thank the local government's Water & Sewer Department. I personally take nothing for granted.

Bill Gates does have a current net worth of $78.6 Billion and has to date contributed $28 Billion to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, so he has some private venture capital.

I have a strong tolerance for risk . Owned several business's and even got married :D But before I send a non-refundable deposit to a start-up car company , I have to factor in the failure rate of the many who came before Elio . Start-up success stories are very rare .
The math is 1 in every 200 succeed .
Since I have no problem waiting for Elio to succeed , sending a deposit would be irresponsible for me. I don't need to be the 1st to have one . I never stood in line to get my Iphone either . I don't criticize anyone else's optimism or strategy and expect the same respect .
Simply put, when Elio begins production , I will be a customer . If they fail to get off the ground , no harm done . I've shared a common interest with some likeable folks .
