might want to have a plan B , west to LA then north on 5 with a possable detour over to 101 to miss any snow

Snow could be a concern and also a lot of fun once I get used to the handling. I love snow driving as long as there aren't too many inexperienced drivers out there who slow down or go too fast when they shouldn't. I might worry more about high winds and rain.......

You live near me; the drive direct route from the plant to here is 2290 miles, about 37 hours.
Better plan on a one week travel vacation; plus since production is planned for Q4 2016 there is no telling what the weather will be like

I may retrace one of my motorcycle trips. Now if a kick starter can only be retrofitted on the Elio. Hmmmmm.

Thinking about it, here's one more opportunity to save weight and cost. Replace the current starter system with --- TA DA -- a crank!

Oh more then you would imagine. I have some planned just for me; and others I plan to market once I have my Elio in the shop.

Just went All-In last night and hope to fly or train to Shreveport to pick mine up and then head east south and north up the coast and then head back to Oregon maybe thru Canada. Was hoping to have done that this year, however I look forward to it when it happens!
