Amazing, and I thought I was one of the only people that does that. When I was doing long distance rides on the bike (Motorcycle not pedal) I had a radio on the bike and never used it, same goes for my cars/trucks I never turn it on unless I get stuck in traffic
When I'm driving by myself, I *always* have audiobooks playing.

It just goes to show how different people are. I've been an audiophile for over 40 years, yet I don't listen to music in the car.... can't even remember the last time I turned on the car radio. And as to using a laptop, forget it. If I even look down at a map for more than 10 seconds in a moving car I start to get car sick. It's amazing how fast it happens. :(

the only use I have for an AM/FM radio in a vehicle is to listen to a NASCAR race or a ballgame .... our Sportchassis came with an entertainment center .... it has a 6 CD changer, a wireless sound system that has battery powered headsets, a TV viewing screen and a bunch of other things .... I don't own a CD nor do I have a clue if any of those features actually work or not

still could be the U.S. (Alaska)
I would think twice about driving my Elio to Alaska. Lots of gravel, and it is very sharp-edged. You WILL get flat tires. No spare on the Elio, so think about it first. On my trip to AK 5 years ago I had 4.5 flats (one flatted twice). I was prepared for that -- 2 spares plus an inflation can. But Elio tires won't be everywhere, and they sure as hell won't be on the back roads. No prob around Anchorage, maybe Fairbanks, but elsewhere? Uh-uh.

I thought the Elio would be using standard-sized tires, meaning any ordinary tire shop should have replacements available.

over time there has been considerable discussions about tires .... what has been released is that they will be custom made for EM by Cooper .... the front and rear tires may or may not be the same size .... tires will be available at Pep Boys .... that is not to say some other company's tires won't fit
