... sporting those "auto ad" wraps. I might try to find a company that still offers that and work out a deal that will pay for at least part of the car....
IA, set that customer contact up quickly, even maybe before you take delivery. It's uniqueness diminishes greatly after 6months of production.

Actually, I've seen a few cars around here ("unusual cars", such as the Smart or the Fiat models) sporting those "auto ad" wraps. I might try to find a company that still offers that and work out a deal that will pay for at least part of the car.

And as for those who are debating "flying there" vs. home delivery, why isn't anyone considering the third option: taking the bus to Shreveport?

I assume that some are considering other travel plans. These would be my choices:
St Louis to Shreveport
1 Bus = 9pm-11pm 26 hours $104
2 Amtrak = 14 hours $158 coach, $225 roomette
3 American Airline = 4 hours $215

Drive home from the factory! It's only a 4 hour drive, though.

Definitely schedule window tinting and probably upgrade the stereo.

Right now the plan is for Ann & I to fly our RV-6 to Shreveport and pick up the Elio.
Still undecided is which one of us will drive back and which one will bring the airplane home.

That is a tough choice. Sounds like a win-win either way. Love the RV-6. I plan to fly out (commercial) and see if I can find my way home. Not all who wander are lost.

Well, Let's see. Flying my own airplane for less than an hour vs. driving to the bus station and sitting in a bus for several hours.
Boy, Hard decision!
You should offer this as a service.
I'd also suggest matching exteriors for the plane and elio.
