I was planning on flying down and driving back, now that my car trailer is 3 wheel compatiable , I have the option to drive down and haul it back with room for an extra one.
Say Critter, what type , size and or brand is your trailer? I was tinking of doing the same thing driving from Florida.

It is an 18 ft Hustler. The company plant is in Washburn Tn. Took the trailer and had them add a third ramp. Mostly for a Farmall tricycle tractor with my future Elio in mind. My retirement plans is to have a RV with my bike and Elio on the trailer behind it.

Normal car carriers are designed for cars. If a car like an Elio has a wheel in the center then I guess car carriers can't be used. I know I'm getting ahead of myself but I'm curious.

Lets say Elio can build 400 cars a day. How many can they deliver at the factory a day?
Can you imagine 400 people showing up at a dealership trying to buy a car!

Something tells me that this is a problem they are looking forward to solving. :)

Also a good number of people will choose to have their vehicles delivered elsewhere so while EM will have some busy days many vehicles will be shipped out for delivery at other locations.

I am just guessing here but lets say the delivery charge is $500. If that is the case and if they offer free pickup then I have to say I would buy a one way ticket and fly down there, pick it up, and drive it back home. For me from kc it would only be about $200 or half after food, hotel, etc. Of there delivery charge. Plus it would be fun driving it home anyway. I bet many people who are within a reasonable driving distance would do that.
