These pipe dreams are the comments made by Paul Elio in different interviews, he has made over the last year... to be fair he does state that he is working on getting these "Perks" for the people who placed money down in advance, ( us ) and if they wanted to pick up their Elio at the plant... he also wants no delivery charge for pick up at plant... We will see who wins...

I believe goofyone also stated that there maybe, a option to stay at a local Casino with Elio Motors picking up the tab.. if you show a one way " airfare " ticket at the Casino desk and have them contact Elio Motors to get the plant tour....

Again, we have to wait and see...

From the casino's perspective you have a group of people, primarily with excess cash - who were willing to put money down on a car that didn't exist on the chance that it gets made.

Sounds like exactly the sort of folks who they'd want in their casino.

And casino's lodging is usually pretty cheap anyway. They make their money from gambling, not lodging :-)

The casinos definitely have a great incentive to work with Elio Motors to provide nicely discounted hotel stays as Elio Motors will be able to bring in a lot of happy people. Happy people = happy gamblers!

Insurance unless you have some issues is simple one call done.
Temp plate non issue it is done every day all the state you are going to reg it in cares about is the fee and sales tax.
As the time get near and we are pretty sure they will roll down the line it might be a good idea to talk with your insurance company ahead of time. You may get a long hold when you tell them you want to insure a2016- 2017 ELIO

From what I have read on the various DMV sites, since Elio is a new business, they will require more proof of documentation than you might need for an established company. :-) Z

I have heard the same things and they are part of my "pipe dreams". However, I prefer living my dreams to smoking them so therefore these are simply my dreams. :-) Z
