Yes, I agree and got the feeling that Ms. Lynch was/is representing those common people. My perception and I could be wrong.

Ms. Lynch is no longer a Caddo Parish Commissioner. She is a Commissioner in the City of Shreveport. I just got the impression that there is some outside agitation going on in Caddo Parish and they are using a Commissioner who didn't do his homework the get the US DOJ involved in something that is not their business. And I won't get too political with that Bigmouthed Black Bass and White Perch nonsense. That's a whole other kettle of fish.

Ahhh LA politics. I think the bottom line is Commissioner Williams is looking to move the spotlight away from his recent indictment from the US Attorney's office for embezzling from SWAG Nation, and trying to dump on fellow commissioners and Elio Motors and along the way trying to make it a racial issue. http://www.fbi.gov/neworleans/press...illiams-indicted-for-stealing-from-non-profit

I was very interested in what both Commissioner's Cox and Escude had to say as I think it accurately represents the relationship between Caddo Paris and Elio Motors better than, as I think Cox mentioned, even the press has reported.

There are other Commissioners of color who do just fine, and I think Chair of the Commission Johnson does a well as anyone in a tough role. Williams' issue is he got caught red handed stealing from a non-profit he personally got the Parish to put public money into. I work with non-profits, and that population, so that type of behavior makes my blood boil.

1.Elio has no contract, no option, nothing, with Cado Parish, the current owners of the old GM plant.
2. Elio is building and tearing down "mules" for safety tests. Not in Cado Parish.
3. Commissioner Williams and many members of the community question the legality of Commissioner Lynch being a paid member of Elio motors board of directors. This is the only job Elio has provided in Cado Parish.
4. Any future connection with Elio in Cado Parish and the old GM plant depends on them getting financing and negotiating a contract for use of the plant.
