Don't forget a tape measure, please.
It is so very important for a project I'm planning.
Measurements needed in order:
1) Diameter of the round Elgin faces
2) Height and width of Elgin cluster (the black plastic filler between and around and silver part of the gauge faces)
3) the size of the dash opening for the cluster

So that's 5 measurements total.
If you only have time to get one, get the outside diameter of the round Elgin faces (big silver circles in the picture below)

Hey, Coss, are you sure the bezel is the same in the production car as it is in the P5? I bet the instrument faces size IS the same, though.

That's why I said "If you only have time to get one, get the outside diameter of the round Elgin faces"
I do believe the silver faces are the one and only Elgin design there is.

At least that's what I think you're asking.

I'm about all in, but here is some of the info I got:

Takata is NOT the airbag supplier. Didn't have the new name handy.
DOE loan is waiting on "proof of concept". Said they will meet that by end of the year.
No word on a HotWheels model.
2 speakers on the dash. Any others will be options ( if made available)
Power assist steering /option
Cruise control/ option
Car cover/ possible option
Belly pan/ unknown
Headlights will not be daytime running lights.
And it's not known which headlight will be on the production model. (P5/creamcicle front clip)

More to follow tomorrow evening. G'nite all.

Thank you

Could you get them to explain exactly what they mean by "proof of concept" in regards to the DOE loan? This topic is more important than everything else put together!

Again, great work!
