I had one but didn't like having to keep another piece of electronics fed and updated. Plus, it doesn't know where I'm going. My phone does.I've also got the "lifetime updates" but now I need a higher capacity Garmin for any update?.

??? You really think so?? What did you see in it that wasn't known before? It's more interesting to me after the webinar than it was before. Not deciding yet, but it's intriguing.
Hard to pin down any one item. Maybe it's more the overall concept makes a bit more sense to me now than it did before.??? You really think so?? What did you see in it that wasn't known before?
You might want to look at these then; all of them are available now (if you recall, Skyz is still in development), and they work in any car.Hard to pin down any one item. Maybe it's more the overall concept makes a bit more sense to me now than it did before.
Amazon has those for $346; add a camera ($20) and video in motion ($14) and you have the system.http://www.pioneer-car.eu/eur/products/avh-x7800bt

The Pioneer AVH-X7800BT with AVIC-U260 add-on GPS is what I (at the moment) am going for.
Yeah, after installation I'm not saving over the Skyz System, but 1) I'm not getting the 3G/4G bills, and 2) I don't have a tablet out in the open screaming "Take me, take me!"

I do plan on adding a forward and side view cameras (both sides) besides the back; tah dah 360 degree view.
Video in Motion; almost everywhere it is illegal to have video playing within site of the driver when the car is in motion (distracted driver); so they have an interlock system that won't allow video to be played unless the parking brake is on. Video in Motion bypasses that interlock system and allows the unit to play video without the parking brake on. It's a chip with 3 wires.Hmmm... could you clarify what "Video in Motion" might be for me, please? Is that software?
Yeah. Me, I don't plan on installing myself. I know my level of proficiency. Thus, Amazon is out.
I'm wanting rear camera that turns on when in reverse, and side cameras (left or right, not both) that turn on when turn signal is activated. Don't know if this is possible with this unit. Buddy at work has it 'built-in' to his, and I like.
