Excellent, when you go make sure to take pictures/movies
I asked O gauge or G gauge because I saw 8 flat cars for $132.00 on eBay; I think they were O gauge.

It's way wider than either of these, Coss. 7 1/2" is the actual distance between the insides of the rails. If you look at the photo of the end on view of the rails with the gauge on the surface plate, the gauge has an end to end length of 11".

Yeah, I wouldn't care to build one I couldn't ride on! :D

We've got a group that run their trains a few miles from me. Kircher Park is just east of Eureka, MO on I-44 and a nice close place to get in a round of disc golf. We noticed the tracks running around the back part of the disc golf course and finally caught up to them one weekend when they were out tweaking the hand-built engines...I think most of them were steam. VERY cool!! Told my daughter about it and now she takes the grandkids down there for rides during the summer months.

Here's some of the si qua non of this world. These guys never cease to amaze me! There's been a handful of Big Boy live steam models built over the years. In fact, right now, Union Pacific is rebuilding one of the originals (full size, largest practical steam locos ever built) in Cheyenne. Hopefully, it will be running sometime in 2019. Road trip! :D

I so can't wait to see this thing! Until then, I'll keep an eye out for NKP765 whenever it make a trip through town.

They have a few of these around here, one it the Mt. Hood dinner train, another one bases right here in Battle Ground, and goes up to Yacolt, they have one up in Snoqualmie Falls too.
