Only good news this week was from Joel Sheldon on the elio facebook page. He has really made progress on the state's changing the laws. And there was a hint that we will be getting news about the 100 pre-production vehicle (announced over a year ago) and the vendors getting them. Hang in there people, it's going to happen. I must admit, I am pissed about the last to emails from elio being so dam lame. We really really need some good news. Oh, I got it, OHIO Elio Enthusiasts Sit down Dinner meeting next Saturday. YAY! You all are Welcome.

I don't do Facebook so I cannot see the Joel Sheldon hint about news on the 100 pre-production Elios. If the hint is true, maybe the reason for the lame "Bloglight on Colorado" is that they intended to tell us something substantive about the 100 Elios but did not have the go ahead to do so by press/blog time. They may have had to put something together quickly and we got a "nothing burger" as a result.

I don't understand what you guys are complaining about. I just saw the latest Elio blog and it told me all about the wonderful state of Colorado. Of course there was nothing new about the car, but who cares, I now know that Colorado was considered for the 1976 winter olympics

Can anybody explain to me why the E series builds are taking so long? I thought the design phase was to be all but finalized, pending testing results, when the E builds started.
