As for testing, the majority of that is done in a test cell, no in the actual car. I know Roush has a large facility that does that and under no circumstances are recording devices allowed. Roush does all of that 150K mile testing, thermo shock testing and emissions testing. As for the actual engine itself, it's in the black on and there's pics of the white one have an engine in it. The black one does run and drive and I assume the white one does because Teves would not be able to do all of the ABS and stability testing without it.There is no indication that the IAV balance was paid in full or if the engine has tested beyond the dyno testing, or in the E1A. If it was we would or should have seen some track testing video to show some progress and spark some excitement.
The engines exist but none of us know to what extent they have been tested as Elio has not provided us with that in their blog. Showing a single dyno pull only indicates that it functions without all of it's liquids exiting it in one form or another.
