I hate to sway the topic more but the Lightyear doesn't interest me. It's going to be an expensive boutique car. I didn't see pricing but it looks like it's going to cost a fortune. Rich people can build whatever they want. We are here for mass market cars.

Sondors is dead, right? The EM Solo is the closest choice now I suppose.

Not dead (Sondors), but certainly catatonic. Solo is being produced, although not fast enough methinks. There are 30-40 cars sold and "out there", but we dont hear much about them except for the "Greens and Beans" one. Too bad it is only a single seater, or it could be more useful. There are many others, but they are mostly toys for the wealthy, not practical everyday econocommuters. There was another one though, I probably have a reservation on that also, but I don't remember the name, sort of looked like the Sondors if I remember rightly.

Your getting them confused I think. The Solo is being made by EM and has started mass production in China. https://electrameccanica.com/
