aka "bait"I do 75 - 80 mph on the way to work everyday, and cops are the only ones passing me (without lights flashing). Oddly, it's around the same time of the morning that Krispy Kreme sets out a fresh batch....coincidence?
They say you can, but I would not to want to mess with it. You need to be pretty finicky to get joins to line up right, etc. I also wonder how durable the stuff is -- though they do say you can get it coated with some goop that they claim is "the hardest coating ever made for a car" for an extra price, or course -- and this stuff ain't cheap.I wonder if that's something you could do yourself. Or if it would require professional installation. VERY cool though! I'll have to check out the site.

Keep me posted if you actually try the stuff.I think a saw the Premium car wrap film was like $7.99 sq. ft. with a 5 year warranty [double check me on that], and I believe they said the "average car" was around 300 sq. ft. . Assuming the Elio is 1/2 the sq. ft. of the "average car", it'd run around $1200 for the material. I haven't really priced a complete paint job lately, but I'm guessing it'd be around $2000 and up, less if you've got a buddy that's got the skills and place to do it. Also saw a video demonstrating a wrap called SofTouch. Looks impossible to scratch. Gotta get me some to experiment with. Thanks for posting the screen shot of their site!
