I ride road bicycles. I used to ride mountain bikes too, but my back decided that was not a good idea. Here is a picture of the one I ride the most. In my best year I rode a few miles short of 16,000 miles, last year I only managed about 6,000. I guess I have been slacking lately.

my hat's off to you, I really respect folks who have that level of commitment .... for me with boats and bikes, if I can't turn a key and hear a rumble, I'm not interested .. o_O

I have a great respect for the ocean and after seeing Jaws, The Titantic, The Perfect Storm, The Poseidon Adventure, and others, if I can't drive it I don't go out on it .... with me driving a boat, I know it ain't gonna be beyond the breakers nor far far from land .. :)

I got to circumnavigate the globe on that ride in 2001. We went west from San Francisco in January and came back home in July after a few month stay in the Persian Gulf. We normally spent most of our underway time in the Bering Sea.

I decided to post here cause it is my hobby to study law. Para gave me the idea to say that. I've never went to school or trained for it. But back in the late 80's = early 90's, I studied the Ohio Child Support Laws and went after my ex. I chased him down from state to state, when I found him I reported it and still had to prove he was capable to pay. I got good at detective work too and this was before computers. I won it all. It don't matter he didn't end up paying it all. He was schooled on getting out of trouble. Don't want to tell how he did it, but it was pretty slick. Any how, this set me up to getting myself into 'The Law'.
Computers are new to me and I don't know my way around them. I've taken a class or two, but it wasn't interesting enough to keep in my brain, lol. So, this morning when I couldn't open some files OHIO Senator Seitz's office sent me I forwarded it to kinko / federal express. They've printed it out for me all 77 pages !!!! And it's ready to be picked. I'll do so on my way into town to pick up my granddaughters for visitation (which I won, without a lawyer, just saying). I'm excited and giggly just thinking about this new world I've gotten into. Earth quakes, wayward governments, Ebola and Terrorist I can't do much about (cept try to be prepare) but this law stuff it fascinating.

I ride/repair old Japanese dirt bikes as a hobby and am already wondering what the Elio would be like as a rally racer. Team Elio - if you're out there, I'd love a shot at the drivers seat!

Is there is any slalom component, likely an upgrade kit would work nicely. Something for off road would be easy too.
Given the out-rigger wheels you could go for a wider track width and/or do things to lift the body and balloon your tires and treads. Technically not hard to do, but would cost a nominal amount of investment.

More after-market fun!
