Aaron, first off our thoughts and prayers go to you and your family. Please take your time and worry about yourself and the decisions that lie ahead of you for the time being. Don't worry about us! Just the fact that you are allowing us to be a part of this journey is a great honor. If you've spent any time at all here, you can probably tell that we can worry about ourselves and each other without a problem. If and when you need or want help with a memorial, all you need to do is ask. I probably wouldn't be the one to ask to organize anything, but I will gladly support what you and your family decide upon. Welcome, and know that we are here for you in any way we can help.

Aaron, if nothing else, I feel sincere joy that you were able to witness the love expressed toward your mother, she was truly a wonderful person... it is something when I can confidently say that, having never met her... and it is absolutely crushing to me that I never will.

I am very sorry for your loss and just want you to know that we are all sending prayers/positive vibes your way. Thank you for stopping by and giving us all the update. God bless and our thoughts are with you all.

Aaron. I am so sorry for your loss, as for ours. If there is any assistance needed from the Roseburg/Sutherlin/Wilber area please let me know as I have three generations of family living there who, believe it or not, are as loving and giving as your mother was. You were blessed with a wonderful mother and we all miss her very much.

Aaron, sorry for the loss of your mother. Since we knew and loved the "digital" Zelio on this forum, visually for those that have not met her in person, (at least for me) she is visually remembered for her avatar. When I see that image of "Yellow Bird Ascending" I immediately think of Z.

I've combined her avatar with the Elio for a visual remembrance of her and affinity for this vehicle's concept. And if this gives anyone an idea for custom wraps to give a "real world" salute to Z, all the better.

In regards to the Model Z Elio, In the words of the younger generation "That's Awesome Dude!" In the words of my generation, "Cool, I can dig it man!" or "Far Out!"

JNR, that looks better than I imagined! :) That WOULD make an awesome hood wrap [forget about trying to paint that on there].

By the way, thank you for all the kindness and welcome you've shown me. There are a lot of messages I'd like to reply to, so please bear with me as I slowly get to them.

Aaron, Many of us on here are old enough that we have gone through the loss of one, if not both of our parents. You are dealing with the "nuts and bolts" of handling a death in the family right now, and that sorta pushes the spiritual, heartfelt, sense of loss down for the moment. Thank you for finding the time to correspond with us, as the loss we feel cannot compare to the loss of your Mom. I know the full impact sets in when you have time to stop and remember.
Z was a constant on here- dependable to gently prod or to loudly fuss at things that pulled her chain! My wife has never been on this forum, but she knew all about your Mom just from me talking about her.
Should there be monetary needs, I am sure we can help if things get short. Let us know.
John

To Aaron, Z's family and the Eioowner's family at this time:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Nothing like an old Irish blessing. Thanks Mike! Brings back some memories of the McMahan Clan Gatherings.
