The article was off on the 86 MPG but also on this statement, 'In some states, any vehicle that has less than three-wheels is automatically classified as a car'.
Looks like at least 1 'Air Head' at the Airherald ?

If you click on the three sources he quoted at the end of the article, you can see he didn't even quote them correctly.

I think Amir Heydari must be a fifth grader. The article reads like it was written by a fifth grader. Most of the facts are wrong and the sentence structure is awful. Oh: "Air Herald is headquartered in Dubai." English is not their first language.

It was definitely a poorly written article but I'm wondering about the disapointed local residents that expect to see a bunch of Elios driving around when they know full well the factory isn't even set up yet!

Actually, if you go back to the article, and click on source 3, at the end of the article, you can see it was one local resident at the Caddo Parrish meeting.

All the Air Herald writers are from the middle east including Tehran, the author of this article does not have a clue let alone any facts. These are the kind of articles that confuse people and let air out of the balloon...

I wasn't calling you out at all. It is just amazing how little journalism is in some of these reports... makes me question other reports.

Agreed Ty, I question any article I read on the internet about any subject. Take it with a grain of salt, as they say. I guess I can see "how" it happens... you as a column-writer have a dozen articles going at any one time... you've got a deadline as a journalist... ah, here's a subject I can throw together in less than an hour... very little research and fact-verification, throw it together, boom I've made my deadline, who cares if it's correct.

I'm not giving them a pass at all, because it's extremely frustrating, when we are thirsting for news, and we see something like this. I know I get excited to see a new article, I start to read it, and it's very deflating when you realize the facts are wrong.

Ah, just checked the author: our friend Amir Heydari. Pretty sure when you see that name as the author, you can close that window and move along. :-)
