Anti-tipping Device

Some of us have had concerns about Elio tipping or people lifting the rear end of the car and moving it when it is parked.

So here's a suggestion:

Install a "squat switch" on the rear suspension.

If weight is removed from the rear wheel while the vehicle ignition is in the "off" position (or alarm is selected "on") that a 120db alarm sounds. (with option of 120,000v electric shock )

A little deterrence goes a long way.

I'm definitely not worried about tipping any more than I am worried about it happening in any other car or truck I've driven in my life, and I'm 40 years old and don't hang around with teenagers so I'm not too worried about anyone "pranking" me either

Get the Infinite Skyz option ,it will alarm and call you when the Elio is being messed with.

For me, tipping is,and has been very difficult.

I just double the check amount, move the decimal point and bingo!! 20%,

I'd like to see somebody try. If the car is 1200 pounds roughly evenly distributed between the three wheels, that rear wheel has 400 pounds on it. That said, the football team did pick up my Beetle (with me in it!) one time.
