Anyone Know How Big Of Tire We Can Stuff Under The Back?

I'd want a more robust rear tire for potential blowouts, maybe.

Given the choice, although I'm aware of the limitations, I'd probably go for a run flat on the rear, or put some of that gooey stuff in the standard tire.

When you consider the Elio's light weight one thing to keep in mind is the weight bearing of the tires. While fat tires would look really kool I would be concerned about a couple of things. There may be adverse affects on antilock braking and traction control systems. My biggest concern would be hydroplaning. With only 500 or so pounds weight on each wheel (particularly the rear) getting caught in a rain storm could be really treacherous with wide tires. Could make a drive in a rain storm feel like a drive on glare ice.

LOL thanks! Yeah I cooked it the first autocross I ran with it and went back to the drawing board on the radiator too. The radiator that is in it now is from a 1968 big block Chevelle and works pretty good!
