I give credit and a hats off to any new startup vehicle company that takes 'their' visionary concept vehicle to production status, with a small in-house team of designers, engineers, technicians, fabricators, prototype builders, marketing specialist, a couple of angel investors, and office personnel. Arcimoto accomplished their mission with the simple "No Risk" refundable reservation support of reservationists, limited R&D budget, and reaching production model status with no debt. Kudos to the A Team on their production start celebration in Eugene on November 11th. I plan on attending. I hope we can celebrate EM's anticipated production start in 2019.
There is no logical reason to be critical of the SRK, the Arcimoto business model, or downplay their potential success. Market acceptance and Arcimoto's long term success will be determined after the SRK production start. Market acceptance of the first three wheeler to production will be a major advantage to those that follow. "Go three wheels!" Paul Elio quote while chatting with Team Arcimoto.
I understand the SRK or the Elio not meeting an individuals wants/needs, but I don't understand slamming or trolling Arcimoto, Elio Motors or any other new startup company. If your interest is in only one vehicle concentrate your positive efforts and support in getting that vehicle to production. Drive what YOU like, Like what YOU drive.
