Disappointed? You bet! Can I do anything about it? Nope! It's been about 18.5 months and may be another 12 to 18 months before we see our Elios. We were really hoping to ca$h in on commuter miles before retirement. Looks like we might get 18 months worth of low cost commuting, Instead of 3+ years.
But on the bright side, my oldest grandson will get a newer car when he turns 16.
On the down side, the 13 yo cavalier commuter car was towed to the shop today and we have to use the truck for commuting til we get it back. 18 mpg in the truck compared to 32 mpg in the cavalier and gas is back up to $1.89 a gallon. Life sucks!
