I built this plywood jeep the winter of 2014. Started in October 2013 and had it on its wheel in February.
It was from plans by the Struck corporation.

the lighthouse shown below was made by some of my wife's family .... its patterned after NC's Cape Hatteras Lighthouse (third picture) .... it is made from heavy ceramic flower pots (won't blow over easily) .... they topped it with a solar light .... really a neat rig

Yes, just your standard Honda clone motor 6.5hp. It ONLY took 250 screws.View attachment 6180
Wow, that's some outstanding work Dave! Just awesome from end to end. :hail:
Are the seats from riding lawnmowers?
The wheels and tires look full size; what size are they?
Can you license it? Or is it more like a very cool golf cart?

My other question is; I see the socket for a trailer hitch, what do you pull with it?
<I'll go wipe the drool off now ..... :smow:

Yes the seats are riding lawn mower style.

The wheels and tires are 14" trailer style.

No it can't be licensed. It goes a whopping 5mph or you can change a gear and go 10mph.

I put the hitch on it just in case in did need to pull anything..it is geared so low that it would pull a decent load for its size.
It looks like I have a few peoples interest, I don't mind answering questions at all but for those with inquiring minds check out their website: http://struckcorp.com/models/mba80#!gallery_11_lg

As an Army retiree and a Shriner, I love that vehicle. Would be fantastic in some of the local veteran events and parades. What kind of frame and running gear does it have?

I had it in a few parades and a car show. It was very well received at all. Simply put it is just a plywood box with no suspension. The running gear came from the Struck Corp. See link in other post. The running gear is very heavy duty.
