I know I'm late to the party but I think for the money the OBD II type devices are the way to go, compared to what Skyz has to offer. I posted somewhere about the "Automatic" and it looks like there are many more such devices nowadays:

I have no need for a connected 4G device in the car when my phone is more than capable of providing that. Elio would have been better offering a head unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, not this rinky dink system from Skyz...
