UPDATE :

well, my seemingly unending search for a good smoker/grill to use when we are traveling has taken yet another twist (or turn I'm unsure which) .... ..... just under a year ago, for traveling, I ordered a Ninja Woodfire Pro Outdoor Grill & Smoker ====> https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B8PJDC63?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 ..... there are bunches of YouTube videos about using one for anyone who may be interested ..... it has turned out to be the finest smoker/grill that we've ever owned .... it works so well that in addition to while traveling, its the one we use almost all of the time at home .... its size and weight make it ideal for packing in our camper .... it is designed to be left outside and with its cover and cart, not a spec of rust .... the pictures below show only a small selection of foods we have used it cook
Looks finger lickin good! If I was into traveling/camping, I’d reserve the spot adjacent to you. :)

from the first of June through late August we plan to be just north of Sioux Falls .... you'd be more than welcome to come by any time .... its no problem to plug it in and throw on most any food you'd like

There's a market for a product like this. People RV and they like to smoke and they have limited space. Good you found what worked. Now all of your neighbors will be jealous.

there's a large number of grills designed for use RV'ing and I have more space in my garage than I care to admit taken up with ones that were OK BUT I kept finding better ones .... hopefully this Woodfire will be in use for many moons to come
