Other drivers are going to stop and let you pull in front of them because they will want to get a good look at what the hell you are driving - problem solved - at least for the first couple of years. :)

Yeah Then it will be like get 'em block him in let's take it!!!

Anybody thought of car jacking so they could steal the cool factor from you? :(

The flexible brake hoses already on every car seem to work OK...;)

certainly .... didn't say it would be imposible, just that it would be interesting .... the brake hoses run to the center of the hub, not to the fender .... that's nothing that can't be overcome but will take some pondering

Jim, they could simply run the wiring towards the hub then fix it rigidly outwards along the fender bracket and the fender itself to the light unit. I just don't see any difficulty in that.

I hope you are right, when you get yours modified, please post pictures .... would you have to install a plug in the line so that it wouldn't hinder removing the fender .... I'm not sure with the enclosed fender it it has to be removed to change the tire

Having learned to drive in the last half of the 1950s I learned to signal with my arm and hand. I am fairly certain this method will work today if for no other reason than it is unusual so will draw attention. :) Z

Actually you would be surprised at the number of confused motorists I encounter when I use hand signals while driving my older bikes that don't have turn signals :(

Here's a sort of to scale drawing of an Elio in an 8x20 parking stall, angled in the way I'd park it. Looks to me like the LH mirror should give a good view of oncoming traffic.

As I live in the country and commute to suburbia, I might parallel park half a dozen times a year, so it's not a big issue for me. Mine will have fender mounted flashers though, OEM or aftermarket.

Hmm... looking at this picture I think that if the mirrors had turn signals integrated into them that they would solve most of the issue.
