11-14-14 .... we are spending November traveling in our camper and have been watching the winter weather associated with the "Polar Vortex" that is spreading across the country ..
.. the leading edge of the "Polar Vortex" is apparently right down the road .... projections call for the temp to drop below freezing around 8PM tonight and stay there for 14 hours .... consequently, this afternoon we will have to begin taking some precautions .... first on tap will be to fill the water tank and have the filters and hoses ready to pack in the basement prior to settling in for the night .... our camper's furnace (which we had repaired last month while at Chesapeake) has been test fired and, thankfully, seems to work as it should .... second on tap, the truck's battery maintenance charger has been plugged in .... also and most importantly on tap, fixing a big pot of chili .... how is this major "weather event" affecting you and your area
