I think you missed the point.
The bill requires that the study and results be publicly available.
That means they have to make the basis of their proposed regulation public.
They can't keep it in a secret server in Chappaqua , NY.
Do you have a problem with transparency?
I prefer transparency and also prefer EPA regulation to be based on scientific fact and findings not on a politicians religious belief.

Yep, religion and politics should not be disscussed unless specifically related to Elio Motors. Obviously, that leaves religion out completely. We do need political involvement only on the DOE level. Go G1!
Looking over this forum, it seems that the Temple of Elio approaches religious status for many of us. ;)

is the same as "Have you stopped beating your wife?"

No, that ( beating your wife ) relates to a factual issue.
Adding "cultist" to the end of "Christian Scientist" is a prejudicial judgement.
No matter what your opinion or my opinion might be on that subject.

Using "Secret Science" to enact a regulation is like using "secret evidence" to convict someone of a felony crime.

...Unless one branch has a pen and a Blackberry. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the "checks and balances" of the three branches aren't so 'balanced'...and haven't been for some time. It's easy for me to point out a problem from my "arm-chair", but damned if I know how to fix it if the elected representatives flip-flop on the issues they ran on to get elected. :(
Summary executions seem appropriate......LOL

I have taken a couple of religion classes, having had a minor interest in the subject back in the day. I believe I am tolerant of all religions and respect the right to an individuals religious beliefs, however, all organized religions are cults. Cult or Cultist is apparently percieved by you as negative and prejudicial term and that is not the case based on the definition. I also believe it's best to keep religion out of the political arena when setting policy that impacts all citizens.

Cult
1.
a.
A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader.
b. The followers of such a religion or sect.

I go by the dictionary.
