I forgot to mention two things. One of the Elio reps, not Jerome, mentioned the possibility of optional fenders like on the P3. Also I was surprised they did not have a table set up to collect names and Emails, voluntarily of course. OR give out a brochure! There were several folks in line that did not have a reservation or a clue about the details of the Elio or the website etc. etc. If I were the tour team I would collect names and where folks were from (to see how far they drove) and emails and start sending these folks information about how to order and Elio and how to buy stock. I think Elio is missing an opportunity. Just my 2 cents.

From what I've seen on this forum Elio Motors is missing out on quite a few opportunities.

The Elio would be a great pizza delivery vehicle.

one of the reps said that with the Skyz option businesses can set restrictions on things like speed and distance for their vehicles .... example, if a teenage pizza delivery boy didn't follow the restrictions programmed, the owner (or designee) would be called and informed

On how your company did not take full advantage of those who participated viewing the vehicle and some of these people drove three hours one way. These are investors, potential investors and clients of your company.

I fear your 2 cents has been spent on jumping to the wrong conclusion .... the announced purpose of the tour is to educate, not to sell .... granted, by providing information, a favorable/exciting atmosphere it does in fact generate sales that are handled by the regular process .... they want people to come, look and listen without fear that someone is trying to pressure them into buying something .... if asked, they will take reservations and log them in at an event .... at our request they took ours in Charlotte in December of 2014 .... while we were there I saw no less than 6 members of the tour working with people in line, giving out information, and answering questions .... one never knows what answers a well intentioned but untrained volunteer may give .... with all of the haters out there, the chance of misinformation being put forward is just too great

shortly after the P4 was introduced a great deal of interest in what are known as having the P3 fenders available as an option .... it was noted way back then that EM was interested in doing so, no reason to believe that has changed

Is it my imagination, or does the rear hatch opening look wider than on the P4? Anyone think to measure it?

It definitely looks wider in this picture.

I was unaware of that. The rep volunteered the information and I thought I would mention it, I did not ask the question.

glad you reported it .... I'm very happy to hear that buying the P3 fenders is still on the table ..... our plan is to order it with the stock fenders and will run them if/when high mileage is important .... we also want a set of the P3's to run when mileage isn't a key consideration .... we like the look of the P3 fenders but using them will necessitate getting better looking rims .... oh well, its only money ..
